Equipment Recommendations
To get the most out of your cycling trip you should be prepared for everything the trails and the weather have to throw at you! The following list is a guide line for what to bring to get the maximum out of your mountain biking experience. the list is not exhaustive so bring any essentials you think we've missed.
- mountain bike (in case you don't rent one)
- jersey(s)
- cycling shorts with a quality chamois
- helmet
- full finger bike gloves with a padded palm
- cycling socks(synthetic or lightweight wool)
- arm warmers
- leg warmers(or long bibs)
- cycling shoes
- hydratation pack with zippered utility pockets
- water canteen with hydratation liquid
- spare tubes
- hand pump
- MultiTool(preferably one with a chain breakerunit)
- knees and elbows protection
- quality rain jacket(preferably Gore-Tex, with pit-zips for ventilation)
- wind jacket(lightweight and form-fitting)
- sweater(fleece and form-fitting mid layer)
- top and bottom baselayer(syntetic or lightweight wool)
- sunglasses(polarized are ideal)
- camera(phone or poit-and-shoot, and a GoPro or other POV camera)
- phone
- neck warmer(or BUFF preferably)

T1B - Canyon visiting on bike

CANYON VISITING ON BIKE
The track starts in center town Predeal, and right away starts to go up on asphalt on sideways streets, through the local enhabitants houses and backyards.
After passing a small section on a path on the woods, we reach asphalt again, and for another 2 km the climb is continous.The good part is that we pass by 2 mountain water springs, where we can refuel.
All the way to Trei Brazi the road is descenting, and there we go straight into the woods on a beautiful single track which will take us all the way, to Secuilor Lodge.The mountain-bikes will fly all this way, knowing that it's where they belong.
After a short break, we continue on the technical path, growing the speed up for a sublime feeling.Down in the valley, we turn left and continue on an unpaved road for another 2 km, after that crossing the railway and the national road for a serious climb.We take the climb serious for 5 km on gravel paved road, all the way to Tamina Canyon. Here the MTB's rest as the bikers group visit the waterfalls.
We continue the climb for a little bit more, after that a 30 minute push-bike and carry-bike section has to be exceeded. All the good things come to the end, because from the top of Piatra Mare Mountain starts a very long, technical and epic descent, which goes for about 1 hour all the way back to Predeal, passsing really close to Susai Chalet.

Transportation and logistics
Transportation from and to the airport is secured by transport company specialized with buses with different capacities, according to the group structure: 8, 16, 24,44 persons.
