day 1

The trail starts from Predeal and after it passes the national road close by the local market, advance on an unpaved road through houses and gardens.

after 10 minutes of pedaling the road became unpaved, and starts to climb slowly for another 2 km. Here we turn right, on an relatively short push zone, and after another 100 m we find a very beautiful descent through the forest. After we came across an forest road ,we reach Fraga Chalet, and after we go over the national road to keep foreward towards Diham.

The 3.5 km climb is a bit aggressive, but after we came close to Forban Hotel, the landscape is miraculously opens and the feeling that Bucsoiu Peak from Bucegi Mountains is gonna fell on our heads.

We reach the training Center of Steaua Club, which is an complex sport base, gyms and training fields foe several sports, which is organized as an military garrison.However it is the belived that those training methods are old-fashioned, the recent history tells us that in 1986 the Football Club Of Steaua Bucharest won Football Champions League after an 3 months soldierly training in the heart of those mountains.

Here we set the ENDURO MODE, get our helmets, knees and elbows protections ready, set suspensions and enter on an descent over the Bradet Peak which put a smile on the face of all the bikers.40 minutes we fly down, through trees,roots, meadows and finally we reach the Biathlon Shooting Range, under the administration of the Romanian Federation of Ski and Biathlon. It is the place where the Romanian National Ski Team is preparing for the next Olympics.

The road on asphalt all the way to starting point, gives us the time to kindly remember of this day on MTB, that we had along all the family ,and made us happy by having quality time togheter.

 

 

day 2

 

The track starts in center town Predeal, and right away starts to go up on asphalt on sideways streets, through the local enhabitants houses and backyards.

After passing a small section on a path on the woods, we reach asphalt again, and for another 2 km the climb is continous.The good part is that we pass by 2 mountain water springs, where we can refuel.

All the way to Trei Brazi the road is descenting, and there we go straight into the woods on a beautiful single track which will take us all the way, to Secuilor Lodge.The mountain-bikes will fly all this way, knowing that it's where they belong.

After a short break, we continue on the technical path, growing the speed up for a sublime feeling.

Once we get to Cotul Donului Chalet, the assitance and logistic team is waiting for the whole group to settle, and then sets all the bikes on the  special designed trailer, and accomodate all the bikers on the buses.

From here to Dambul Morii are only 10 minutes drive, after a short and relaxing  45 minutes hike all the way to SevenStairs canyon.

Visiting all the waterfalls from the Canyon reveals all the gratest  and hidden beauties of Romania, and at the end an amazing 23 ziplines linked togheter will bring us back to the car.

All the emotions end excitement encountered during the day, are multiplied at the end of what's gonna be THE BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE.
